Staying Safe Online

E-Safety is an important part of keeping children safe at Lordship Lane Primary School. We have extensive security measures in place in school, which are monitored both internally and externally, to help safeguard pupils from potential dangers or unsuitable material. All e-Safety incidents are recorded and managed. E-Safety is taught to all pupils explaining and demonstrating how to stay safe and behave appropriately online. E-safety is not only taught discretely through computing but additionally during PSHE lessons and whole school assemblies.

Lordship Lane Primary is working with National Online Safety- providing e-Safety resources for all parents and carers. Look up information about the latest app or game your kids are playing. The resources include Parents & Carers courses (presented by Myleene Klass), online video resources and weekly guides.

Parental Controls

Parental controls allow you to block and filter upsetting or inappropriate content. They work across your WiFi, phone network, individual apps and devices.

Parental controls can help you to:

  • plan what time of day your child can go online and how long for
  • create content filters to block apps that may have inappropriate content
  • manage the content different family members can see.
